I'm posting our Salvage rules and progress on here for now until I can find a better medium for it. For those of you that read this and are interested in joining, send me a tell. HOWEVER, our team is filled at the moment so there are no openings, but alternatives are welcome to join if regulars aren't able to attend runs. Please, keep comments on the methods in which we execute Salvage to yourself because it will just go in one ear and out the other.
Lotting Rights: Members are to have a three item Wishlist of gear they desire most. Runs will be scheduled and focused around members' number 1 priority.
Once all top priority pieces have been completed, a member's number 2 priority becomes his/her new number 1.
Lotting rights to an item go to the member who has the final gear piece as their more desired piece on their Wishlist.
If two members have the same piece in the same position on their Wishlist, both members will cast lots. If more than two members have the same item in the same position on their Wishlist, members will /random. The highest /random will have lotting rights.
If two of the same pieces drop and two or more members desire that piece and have listed on the same position of want hierarchy, all members will /random. The two highest /random will have lotting rights.
A member may change his/her Wishlist order, however, if other members have items in the same order or position on their Wishlist, the member who changed his/her Wishlist has lowest lotting priority. This accounts for an automatic Wishlist change as well when a member completes a piece of gear.
Gear that is not on any members' Wishlist will be lotted by members who have the jobs leveled 75 and above and WILL make the final product.
Attendance: Attendance isn't mandatory but it is highly encouraged if you want to see anything come out this event. Attendance will be logged after every run.
At the end of each month, money from any sales made will be distributed based on attendance. Members are allotted 3 absences each month before pay is affected. This will be effective starting in January 2011.
In the event sufficient number of members cannot attend, the group will not do a zone Boss run. However, full attendance does not mean the run has to be a Boss event.
Assault: We will do as many Assaults as we can while maintaining Assault Points in each zone sufficient to allow members to make salvage runs.
Tentatively, Assaults may be done before or after each salvage event or on other days designated to do so dependent on members. This is subject to change.
Medicinal items gained from Assault will be used to aid our runs.
