TIME … need to focus and kill quick kill to slow and you time out. Dynamis endgame event and needs people to do their jobs for the benefit of the linkshell it’s a linkshell event not a day out sight seeing
Dynamis stones aggro on sight may be stationary or moving, moving stones will aggro other stones even whole parts of zone if not pulled correctly
Dynamis mobs pop after stones are pulled. Stones can pop from 0-5 mobs; puller should learn pop position of mobs to prevent linking other stones and mobs
Pulling stones in wrong order can ruin full run and prevent you from moving forward
Job guide
Tank /assist your tank; we kill one mob at a time. No room for RAMBO in dynamis a loose mnk mob can rape an alliance
RDM 1) silence scorpions as soon as u see them (scorps cast breakage and a stoned alliance will quickly wipe) 2) Gravity mnk mobs 3) sleep any loose mobs 4) Can be asked to be main sleeper or backup sleeper 5) normal party stuff (refresh buffs cures etc) 6) can help with nukes if asked 7) do in this order no exceptions
BLM 1) sleepga all pulled mobs 2) Nuke > stun > run all stones. All stones have slow movement speed, run to the clear area behind where has already been pulled 3) Stun mobs when told 4) On SMN Mobs target avatar have STUN>>SLEEP ready 5) Time nukes… required for some stones.. you will be told when 6) Nuke mobs WHEN TOLD ONLY for PLD and THF mobs or if a lot of blms that can help with DD 7) Do in this order no exceptions… points 1+2 a priority sleepga then kill stones
WHM + BRD 1) repose/Lullaby pets 2) do your job cure buff de buff songs etc
DD 1) assist your tank and rape the mob end of story
THF Main puller, other jobs can pull dynamis /nin recommended as stone can cast T4 spells and quickly kill puller
1) main puller 2) sac puller.. thfs job to die in dynamis especially Lowman dynamis… some pulls will link lots of mobs easier to let one person die why LS pulls mobs out of train in order to pull the same mobs again but with less mobs to focus on.. this keeps the focus on speed and prevents wasting 5 minutes for ls to recover as time is always short… sac pulling can also be used to clear paths especially to time stones when close to timing out 3) Sac pull all bad links… as above in #2 if a bad link to sac away from alliance 4) Kite stones.. A Thf with good evasion can easily hold 5+ stones why alliance focuses on mobs. Some pulls hard not to get big links such as dynamis Sandy on the gates a thf can easily kite all the stones why alliance focuses on sleeping and killing mobs… remember to set camp way back from pull. mobs run faster than stones so will get to alliance first enabling blms to sleep without hitting stones… stones will then continue after thf
Dynamis mobs
SMN always kill smn mobs first.. astral flow will one shot full alliance.. BLMS should focus on AVATAR and have STUN > SLEEP ready in case it wakes
MNK mobs should always be Gravity and anyone with stun ready to stun 100 fists
PLD nukers should be ready to nuke it down when invincible
Thf as with pld mobs nuke it down when it uses perfect dodge
BST+DRG better to kill their pets right after you kill the mob it’s a quick kill and one less mob for sleepers to focus on
WHM should always be killed last Benediction will wake all mobs in range and make it harder for the blms
NIN Should also be killed last or next to last on your preference. If you decide to kill last make sure you pull whms away to stop benediction waking nins. 2 hour can wipe alliance important not to use WS above 50% hp good strategy is to save TP and everyone unload at 50% and all stunners stun this works well if people work together.
NM’s general rule is kill all NM’s last apart from SMN nm. May be occasions when killing NM first may be better but your leaders will tell you when
Basic Dynamis rules.
1) turn up on time it can be a long event and pisses people off when having to wait for others. 2) If you aggro any mobs (DIE ALONE) DO NOT run to alliance like a chicken most Dynamis shells will boot you the first time you do this so just die ls will come back to raise your sorry ass 3) Follow instructions to the letter people are doing these runs for your benefit either gill or items.. leaders will have been doing this for years and will want very little from Dynamis 4) Don’t argue or give advice unless asked (we did it this way in my old ls) we don’t care how you did it with someone else there are many ways to pull all zones and leaders will decide how to do it.. doing dynamis with 6 people will be done different than in we have 10 people turnout or 20 people turnout. We pull with what jobs are available to us 5) Stay at camp your puller will tell you when to move 6) NEVER sleep mobs until they reach your puller.. your puller will bring the mobs to a safe place to sleep.. sleeping mobs to soon will link moving stones that you may not know which path they take.
This is a basic guide Dynamis is pretty easy now with the level increase but can easily fail if people do not get the basics right
